NCAA Pre-Season Rankings

With the collegiate men's volleyball season right around the corner, the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) has released their pre-season top-15 rankings for Men's Division I-II programs.

Defending champs Long Beach State enter the season as the pre-season favorite to repeat

1. Long Beach State

2. UCLA (former Bay to Bay director Brad Keller serves as the Bruins assistant coach)

3. Hawai'i

4. UC Irvine (alum Joel Schneidmiller looks to build on his stellar freshman campaign for the 'Eaters)

5. BYU

6. Pepperdine

7. Lewis (alum Kyle Bugée begins his Junior season as one of the top point scorers from the service line for the Flyers)

8. Ohio State

9. Loyola-Chicago (alum Markus Melbardis anchors the senior laden Ramblers)

10. UCSB

11. CSUN

12. Concordia Irvine (alum Bailey Mundy begins his first season in SoCal after transferring from NJIT)

13. Stanford (Coach Mason Tufuga begins his Junior season at Stanford and Director Matt Houlihan enters his third season as the volunteer assistant for the Cardinal)

15. IPFW
